The "Work by Mode" Series: Time-Based Modes

In the penultimate episode in this mini-series, I spend three minutes (or so) talking about the category of mode-based work that is designed to be the most quantitative of them all: Time-Based Modes.
This category is probably the easiest to start with (or fall back on) because it is the most easily measured. Having a “5 Minute Mode” is especially useful when you know you only have a half-hour between appointments because instead of scanning your to do list looking for tasks to try to do in that timespan, you can simply do quick math to try to complete six 5 minute tasks instead.
