The "Work by Mode" Series: Energy-Based Modes

In this third episode of The "Work by Mode" Series I discuss a category of mode-based work that can be valuable to use but isn't one that usually would come to mind unless you tap into how you're feeling at any given moment: Energy=Based Modes.
Your energy levels play a much bigger role in your task and time management that you give them credit for. By using modes that identify what level of energy you need to tackle a task, you’re setting yourself up for better results on all of the items on your to do list - and you can even be more effective when you not feeling 100% to boot!

Some examples of Energy-Based Modes include:
  • Deep Work; Shallow Work
  • Full Focus; Shallow Focus
  • Primetime; Garbagetime
  • High Energy; Low Energy
